Georgina Wilson's sister, model Jess Wilson, tied the knot with Moritz Gastl in a gorgeous beach wedding in Palawan.
The beautiful newlywed recently opened up about an unfortunate and potentially deadly experience she had after her wedding on her Instagram Story. According to the model, she got stung by a stonefish while she was having her photo taken on the beach.
"I asked my friend to take my photo by the water. Another friend went first, took her photo and came back out. I then went to take mine and in a few seconds, felt this immense sharp sting to my foot. This is the photo, the very second, I got stung by a stonefish. Google what a stonefish is and you'll maybe feel the 1% amount of fear and anxiety I had been in."

Indeed, a stonefish's venom is considered toxic to humans and could cause excruciating pain, difficulty breathing, convulsions, paralysis, and could even lead to death. "I've never felt such pain in my life," Jess recalled.
The model thanked everyone who helped her get treatment and proceeded to express her gratitude for managing to survive what could have been a fatal incident.
"I thought that was it for me. Thank you to the ER doctors, to the resort doctor, to the ambulance, boat men, and local LGU who got me the immediate attention I needed."
"Can't make sense of how this happened to me, on this particular weekend, in this way, but I'm so thankful to be alive and feel like I've had a second chance."
