- The flight of Sen. Manny Pacquiao for Los Angeles has already left the country and yet, it went back

- Pacquiao was meant to fly to L.A. to start his training, however, the flight went back to Manila

- The plane took off from NAIA on the evening of July 3, Saturday

- But it had an emergency landing in Tokyo because a passenger had a medical emergency

Sen. Manny Pacquiao was meant to fly to Los Angeles, California. He left the country on July 3, in order to reach L.A. and start training for his boxing match with Errol Spence, Jr.

The plane however, needed to make an emergency landing in Tokyo because one passenger had a medical emergency.

The passenger was not brought to a hospital in Tokyo anymore.

Since the landing time permit of the flight was only until 12 midnight in the U.S., the plane had to fly back to the Philippines.

Pacquiao still took the July 4 flight to L.A., so he can still make it to his training on July 5.

Pres. Rodrigo Duterte once more unleashed scathing words against Sen. Manny Pacquiao. The President pinpointed that it does not mean that because Pacquiao is a champion in boxing, he is also a champion in politics. The latest pronouncement of the President added to the fire that has already sparked between the two camps. It can be recalled that Pacquiao's statement that the current administration is more corrupt triggered the President, bringing the latter to counter the statement.

Sen. Manny Pacquiao accepted the dare of Pres. Duterte after the latter dared him to present evidence regarding corruption. The senator said that he feels the same way about corruption, however, he defended his points. He told the President that with all due respect, he is not a liar. He then directly named the Department of Health, which is headed by Sec. Francisco Duque.
