He confessed that it was his paintings that helped him make it through. He also stated that he started to pray the rosary almost every day, which is something that he did not do before.
Slowly, he felt blessings pouring in, and he also slowly paid his debts and send his kids to school.

Bayani Agbayani also guested and he shared his bitter experience of poverty during his younger days before he became a successful actor, singer, and comedian. The comedian said he experienced being a porter at Divisoria just so he could finish his degree in college, which he considered then as his hope towards a better future for his family. He also said that he did not have any photos of his graduation because he cannot afford to have his picture taken and even had to borrow money from a relative just so he could buy something to wear on graduation day.
Previously, Tita Aster Amoyo gave updates about his condition. Aster revealed that John finally wants to be discharged from the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) where he was confined due to liver cirrhosis.
