Ken Chan recently revealed that he and his family had tested positive for COVID-19.

In an Interview with 24 Oras’ “Chika Minute”, the Kapuso actor talked about their struggles when they contracted the virus.

“Buong family namin, 'yung 17 na 'yon nagkaroon ng COVID. 'Yung lola ko, 'yung baby namin dito, 'yung two years old,
"Nanghihina kami. 'Yung mga muscles namin, puro muscle pain. 'Yung buto namin hinang-hina. Hindi kami makatayo, hindi kami makalakad, wala kaming ganang kumain, wala kaming panlasa, wala kaming pang-amoy. ‘Yung mata namin sobrang red na tapos nagluluha lang siya,” Ken narrated.

He likewise recalled how they drew strength from prayers, their relatives and friends.

Last year, Ken got involved in a car mishap in Timog Avenue, Quezon City. Reports said that a van suddenly hit the back of the actor’s vehicle while he was driving. The driver of the van and his passenger were wounded because of the accident. The Kapuso celebrity then earned praised online after he issued a statement about the mishap.
