Maris Racal and Rico Blanco gladly shared on social media that they have now received their first doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

They likewise uploaded photos of them taken after they received their vaccine jabs.

Mariestella "Maris" Cañedo Racal or Maris Racal is a Filipina actress, singer-songwriter, host, vlogger, and endorser. She came to prominence in 2014 after joining "Pinoy Big Brother: All In" where she placed second. In a media conference, the singer-actress confirmed that she is in a relationship with Rico Blanco.
Rico Blanco, on the other hand, is one of the famous musicians in the Philippines. He is one of the founding members of the popular OPM band, Rivermaya. In 2007, Rico left Rivermaya and started his solo career. Some of his popular hits are “Your Universe”, “Antukin”, and “Yugto.”

Before her confirmation, Maris' old tweet about Rico made rounds on social media. The said post published in August 2017 shows Maris expressing her desire to hear the OPM icon sing live.
In March 2018, the singer-actress also posted on Twitter about her request to Rico along with her birthday greeting for him. According to her tweet, she wanted the OPM icon to sing his song “Balisong” on her wedding day in the future.
