In an interview with the Inquirer, Pauleen said that whether a person is a celebrity or not, he or she would always be subject to bashings.

“Bashers will be there no matter who you are, so I guess I will let Tali deal with them like any other person,” the actress said.

As regards Tali entering showbiz, GMA News previously reported that Pauleen’s husband, Vic Sotto, said that if their daughter would do so, they can’t really stop her.

When asked about that previous interview, Pauleen said that she doesn’t think Vic would try to stop Tali from joining showbiz in case she wants to.

“As for the dad, I don’t think he will try to stop Tali because his other kids, Oyo and Danica, practically grew up in showbiz,” the celebrity mom revealed.

In a Manila Bulletin report a couple of months ago, Vic even volunteered to be the manager of Tali.
