Saab Magalona was recently featured in Preview's YouTube channel to tackle the prevalent issue of body shaming on social media.
The celebrity mom was asked if she has ever experienced body shaming. Saab candidly responded that she has had to face some body shamers in the past and she feels that most women have been subjected to body shaming to some extent.
However, Saab is no longer affected by body shaming. She also shared that she has gotten fit not to lose weight or cater to those who are criticizing her body but rather because she wants to be strong for her children.
Saab also clarified a previous Instagram post she made where she shared a picture of her figure after giving birth alongside a photo of her looking fit with the caption "mom bod".
According to the singer, she was not body-shaming her past self. The celebrity mom continued on to say that she believes that a mother's body is beautiful as it stretches to accommodate new life.
She also expressed her hope that more people will see that comments that criticize their bodies are more a reflection of the commenter than their own bodies.
