Today is International Nurses Day and I want to honor all of Pancho's past nurses, especially the ones that took such great care of him in St Luke's NICU for over 60 days after he was born.
The first 2 photos were taken when Pancho was 11 months old and he got to see his nurses again!! The 3rd photo was from the day we were finally discharged from the hospital. I am so so so grateful for the patience, the hard work, the literal INTENSIVE CARE that these wonderful nurses gave my baby boy. THANK YOU.
The last photo is a screenshot of a DM I got just a few days ago. My heart skipped a beat when I saw it. It was from one of MY nurses when I was in the Intensive Care Unit. She was my angel - always smiling as she was giving me sponge baths, and brushing my hair, making sure I was never uncomfortable as she took care of me at my most vulnerable.
