Rabiya Mateo and her boyfriend of six years have already broken up. Amid all these, netizens became critical of the beauty queen.

Neil defended Rabiya and said that the beauty queen has nothing to apologize for. The basher stated that Rabiya should apologize to Filipinos because she hurt them.
The basher also reminded the beauty queen about her previous statement, "I can make a man stay."
“Maybe you will find someone who will love you truly, and that girl who will never leave you. @neilow Don't give up. I don't know why you guys broke up, however, I want to remind this girl,@rabiyamateo you chose this path, be ready about the your future. And I think you should also apologize to all Filipinos, because you hurt them as well, because of your statement. ‘I can make a man stay.’"

Neil however did not like it and responded by saying that both of them are happy and that such is their choice.

A fake account on Twitter is now claiming as the official account of Rabiya Mateo. However, the beauty queen stated that she has no Twitter account. Rabiya declared this to MJ Lastimosa, who is one of her biggest supporters, who went with the whole Miss U crew. She categorically said, "wala akong Twitter."
A video of MJ Lastimosa exclaiming "Ay Catriona" as Miss Thailand was doing the evening gown preliminary segment has gone viral. Miss Thailand was walking and when she turned, it was then that the beauty queen exclaimed "Ay Catriona." She also tried to say "Hi" to Miss Thailand but since she was not given any attention she just laughed it off. The video has been shared and viewed on Twitter thousands of times.
