It has been more than two decades since Claudine Barretto and Mark Anthony Fernandez did a movie together. Now, their reunion project has finally pushed through.

In ABS-CBN's report, the movie is called "Deception" where Claudine would play the role of an actress who was convicted of arson and parricide.
She was imprisoned and tried to redeem herself after her imprisonment.
“I've been raring to face the cameras once more, and work with none but the best actors and directors in the industry," said Clau through Arnold Vegafria, her manager.
Previously, the actress lambasted her estranged husband because of matters pertaining to support for their children, reported Rappler.
Indeed, the actress has already proven how she could draw viewers. In fact, a recent Interaksyon report noted how her old film with Rico Yan ended on YouTube's trending videos.

Claudine Barretto slammed her ex-husband Raymart Santiago and his new girlfriend, Jodi Sta. Maria. The actress said that her children with Raymart should have been informed first about the latter’s new romantic relationship before he and Jodi went public with it. According to her, it was unfair because Jodi’s son, Thirdy, was informed about it but not Claudine’s children. She also claimed that Jodi is a bad influence for Raymart since the latter allegedly became a worse father when they got together.
