Customer claims that her fried chicken was replaced with fried towel

- The catch, however, is that instead of receiving a fried chicken, she claimed she received a deep-fried towel instead
- According to the netizen, it was "disturbing" and at the same time "disgusting and embarrassing"
- She then went on to air her thoughts over the other fried chickens that may be potentially contaminated

One netizen has taken to social media to air an alarming complaint about a local fast-food restaurant.
On Wednesday, June 2, KAMI learned that Alique Perez shared an online post regarding her fried chicken which she claims turned out to be a fried towel.
According to Alique, she ordered food for her son from a fast-food restaurant which was then delivered via Grab.

"Just something that frustrated me this late. We had Jollibee delivered via grab. Ordered chicken for my son.
"While I was trying to get him a bite, I found it super hard to even slice. Tried opening it up with my hands and to my surprise a deep-fried towel," she stated.
Alique then added that the whole incident was "disturbing" and questioned how in the world did a towel get in the batter.

"This is really disturbing... How the hell do you get the towel in the batter and even fry it!?!? Yung totoo?"
In her online post, Alique stated that it was "disgusting and embarrassing."
"I really thought that the post complaining about weird stuff in their orders were just all made up, now I know that it really happens!

"So disgusting and embarrassing... to think that you're even branched in BGC. There's a first for everything. And this has been the worst first! Calming myself down for this... But WTH."
In the end, Alique aired her concern over the fact that the other fried chickens may have been contaminated due to the fried towel.
"Now I can't even think of the other chickenjoys na kasama while frying this. Having the same oil for how many hours after frying this FRIED TOWEL.

"The essence of the towel contaminated the oil and the batter from the supplier so how many chickenjoys are affected? We won't know... "
