Bea Alonzo recently shared one remarkable story of her and her mom, Mary Ann, when they were in Dubai.

She shared it in her latest vlog where she discussed about her favorite travel destinations.
When started talking about Dubai Gold Souk, the actress could not help but share her experience related to the said destination.
“May, istorya ako diyan. 'Yung nanay ko, the first time we ever went to Dubai, parang we had this show (Return of the Champions) with the champions pa at that time. So at that point, I was really jet-lagged, I was really tired. So sabi ko kay Mama, hindi na ako sasama doon sa Gold Souk. She went with the group, ako natulog lang ako hotel. At this point, wala pa akong credit card nito. My mom arrived at the hotel, ang dami nilang dalang alahas.”
“So nagtanong ako, ‘Asan na 'yung talent fee Ma?’ Nagastos nila lahat sa Gold Souk.”

She then revealed that John Lloyd Cruz became their "life saver" at that time.
“Sa buong 5 days or one week namin sa Dubai, wala kaming pera, as in sumasama lang kami kay John Lloyd para magpalibre ng meals. Binayaran naman namin siya pagdating sa Manila.”
