Sharon Cuneta has finally revealed the reason why she flew to the U.S. The Megastar recounted that she was given a supporting role in a Steven Spielberg movie, particularly the role of an aunt.

While it may be a huge opportunity, she had to let it go because a laboratory gave her a "false positive" COVID-19 test result.
She said that whe was supposed to go to Los Angeles on May 18, and on the next day, fly out to Canada for the shoot.
On May 16 however, she was swabbed, and the result was positive. Hence, she was not able to make it to filming.
Worse, after getting seven more labs to do the swab testing, all seven laboratories gave her a negative test result.
