Sharon Cuneta recently made her thoughts known through her caption in an Instagram post, which states that she desires to live forever in the US.

The Megastar flew to the US last week and said that she’s leaving the country for now because she wants to breathe and collect herself, as well as to gain strength.

After she arrived, she immediately had herself inoculated with COVID-19 vaccine. She immediately shared the news on social media.

On Tuesday, Shawie posted a photo of the view where she’s staying in California. One could see the hills where the famous Hollywood landmark is situated.

In her caption, she revealed that being there makes her feel like the coronavirus pandemic is very far away.

“My gosh. Being here makes it seem like COVID is a lot farther away than it ever was,” the Megastar wrote.

She then narrated that the West Coast always felt like home to her and that she could live there forever.

“Though I lived in Boston for a year++ and love New York, the West Coast has always felt like home to me since I was a little girl. I could live here forever. Kiko would NEVER leave the Philippines no matter what though. I could. In a heartbeat! Sorry na lang life is short,” Sharon said in her post.

When Shawie left the Philippines for the US last week, she declined to give the reason for her sudden departure, giving rise to speculations as to why she left. However, she did say that she is going to a place where only herself and her eldest daughter are legal residents. The Megastar also shared her emotional pre-departure preparations before she left. Many netizens posted comments and messages for Sharon, with many of them wishing her well just in case she’s going through something.

Though Sharon did say that she’s flying to the US to relax and to breathe, many are left wondering why the sudden departure. Recently, she posted on Instagram a video clip of her vaccination. She was vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine, and the one who administered it was also a Filipino nurse. Sharon also said that how she wishes that her children would also get their vaccines against COVID-19.
