Hence, as the very first beauty queen who was given the honor to flaunt a Michael Cinco creation on the international pageantry stage, she had to speak her mind.

According to Sandra, her journey with the esteemed designer started in 2009.

"My journey with Michael began back in 2009 when he dressed me in the unforgettable rainbow cascading Swarovski gown for Miss Earth. The gown had already been purchased by a buyer at $25,000 USD at the time, but to show his support for the Philippines and pageantry he found a way to send the creation all the way to Manila (including a fallback blush Swarovski gown) to a candidate he hadn’t even met in person (me)! Thanks to Michael Cinco, we bagged the best in Long gown award and I went on to win Miss Earth Air in that very same dress!"

The concern of Michael does not only extend to the overall impact a beauty queen wearing his creation onstage would make, but it goes beyond that as he shows care and affection to the queens.

"One thing I will never forget is his concern for my safety; since I was alone, he made sure to personally bring me home because his driver had already left. Imagine THE MICHAEL CINCO driving you home in his Mercedes Benz! Unforgettable..." she recounted.

Sandra also said that he showed the same care and affection to her family. As such, the beauty queen could not just bear to remain silent while a friend, whom she knows personally, is being accused and lambasted on social media.
