Lani Misalucha continues to perform despite dealing with hearing loss

Asia's Nightingale, Lani Misalucha recently had a global press conference for her digital concert with singer Martin Nivera titled, "New Day".
In the press conference, the talented singer addressed the issues she is facing due to her hearing loss. Lani was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis last year which caused the hearing loss in her right ear.
Lani opened up about the struggles she continues to face when singing as it is vital for singers to be able to hear their voice. According to the singer, she only hears scratches in her right ear which made it really difficult for her to gauge her voice.

However, though she admitted to not being completely well both physically and mentally, she remains hopeful. Lani will continue to perform as she believes that life goes on.

Lani Bayot Misalucha is a Filipino singer who performs pop, rock, jazz, soul, rhythm and blues, and operatic arias. Her ability to sing across several genres gave her the title "Asia's Nightingale" by MTV Southeast Asia. She was also nominated for an Aliw Award for playing Sita in the 1999 Filipino musical Rama at Sita - The Musical.

KAMI also reported that Lani Misalucha went to the program of Raffy Tulfo. She sought the broadcaster’s help in solving one of the problems that she is experiencing. The complaint was against a booking agent who allegedly took away more than 100 thousand pesos from her.
Lani also opened up on Instagram about her current health and career issues. The singer admitted that she is struggling to sing due to the deafness of her right ear. Her tinnitus is also making it hard for her to concentrate on the music when she is performing.
