Pia Wurtzbach gave an important message to the Filipino pageant fans who say that Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo was cheated at the 69th Miss Universe pageant, which was won by Mexico’s Andrea Meza.
KAMI learned that during her Queentuhan YouTube episode, Pia said that pageant fans should not be bitter when their bet does not win a competition.
According to Pia, the allegations that there was cheating involved in the Miss Universe organization are unfounded.
She urged those pageant fans to show sportsmanship and to congratulate the winners of the pageant.

“I don’t like na hinihimay natin ng sobra ‘yung competition kasi hindi natin matanggap ‘yung winner or ‘yung fate ng candidate natin na sana maging sport tayo.
“I read some comments na binili daw o kaya dahil marami daw Latina sa judges. ‘Wag natin i-doubt ‘yung organization. Kasi, wala nang manonood ng Miss Universe kung luto ‘to,” she added.
“’Yun talaga ‘yung napili ng judges, it’s her destiny, let’s be sport. Let’s shake hands and mean it. Congratulations, accept defeat, and move on,” Pia stated.
