Janice de Belen was recently a guest in ABS-CBN's talk show, "Magandang Buhay" which is hosted by Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Jolina Magdangal.
During the interview, the veteran actress was asked which food was comparable to actor, Gerald Anderson. Janice responded, "Si Gerald ay parang bangus." which elicited a funny reaction from the hosts.
Janice quickly explained her response by saying, "Love ko ang bangus. Favorite ko ang bangus kaya lang matinik." which made the hosts chuckle.

Janice further clarified her "matinik" comment by saying that the actor is mired in a lot of issues. She then revisited a rumor back in 2015 where she was linked to the actor and was even incorrectly blamed for Gerald's split from his previous girlfriend, Maja Salvador.
Janice reiterated that there was definitely no basis for the rumor and shared that Gerald is like a brother to her. She also mentioned that she has the same relationship with other actors like Enchong Dee and Rayver Cruz.
