Tom Rodriguez shocked his fans and followers due to his new video on social media.
KAMI learned that Tom revealed in the said video that he tested positive for COVID-19 but has now fully recovered.

According to Tom, he had to be quarantined for over a month before he was finally able to resume his normal life.
He thanked his fiancée, Carla Abellana, for urging him to take a RT-PCR test to check if he had COVID-19. Fortunately, Carla did not get infected with the virus because the couple decided to stay away from each other after Tom showed some symptoms.
"Buti na lang I took her advice, and hindi muna kami nagkita nun, so there was no chance I infected her when I did test positive," Tom shared.

The actor also clarified that his symptoms were very mild so he did not have a fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, and loss of smell or taste.
"Thankfully, nung nagka-COVID ako, I had very, very mild symptoms. It was very manageable. So I didn't have fevers, I didn't have cough and phlegm, and tightness in my chest. And fortunately, fortunately, I didn't have any loss of smell or taste so I was still able to eat and boost my immune system that way," he explained.
