Kakai Bautista posted several new photos on her Instagram account just a day after TV host and actor Kim Atienza defended her and lambasted the statement of Thai actor Mario Maurer.
It can be recalled that Kakai became embroiled in controversy when the alleged talent management team of the Thai actor sent her a demand letter telling her to cease and desist using Maurer’s name.
Kakai is a confessed fan of Maurer and would often tell followers in a jest that she and Maurer have a thing together.
She would always mention the name of the Thai actor if opportunity arises.
According to Maurer’s talent management company, Kakai is destroying the image of the Thai actor, resulting in lesser opportunities for their talent.
Kakai denied the charge but has since then largely kept quiet about the issue.
Recently, Maurer was among the guests in a TV show where he stated that it came to his knowledge that Rabiya Mateo is his fan.
The statement prompted Kim to post a message on social media that read: “No, Rabiya is not a fan of yours, Kakai was and how badly you and your PR team treated her. Just had to say that.”
A day after, Kakai posted several photos, with one having the caption: “ Not your covergirl, ut I know why and how I got here.”
It is still unclear whether her posts were related to the post of Kim but it might become clearer in the coming days.
