According to the comedian, Armanda gave him up for adoption 50 years ago when he was just a baby.
Kuya Jobert admitted to getting hurt over what his mom did but he has forgiven her now and is glad to finally meet her.
He sobbed during their reunion as he hugged his mom for the first time in 50 years.

“Itong araw na ito ang pinakaimportante sa akin dahil kikitain ko ang nanay ko—ang totoong nanay ni Kuya Jobert. Ilang taon kaming hindi nagkita ng nanay ko.
“Nagpapasalamat ako sa Diyos kasi nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makita ang nanay ko, ang totoong nanay ko. Mayakap, mahalikan, matanong yung mga bagay na gusto kong tanungin mula nung bata pa ako hanggang ngayon na tumanda na ako.
“Di ko alam kung anong mararamdaman ko. Medyo kinakabahan ako. Medyo masaya ako. Medyo may tampo pa rin ako, di ba, kasi marami akong tanong. Pero nagpapasalamat ako sa Diyos kasi ito na yung araw nahinihiling ko. Pinagkaloob na Niya sa akin.
“Isipin mo, 50 years old na ako. Ilang taon din akong nagtampo doon, eh. Hindi n’yo pala malalampasan yung nakaraan n’yo. Hindi kayo makaka-move on hangga’t hindi n’yo naaayos yung relationship n’yo kahit kanino lalo na yung mabibigat sa buhay n’yo. Maaapektuhan talaga yung future niyo,” Jobert said.
