Anne Curtis, in a recent interview, revealed that she personally saw that the Filipino belief of grandchildren being more spoiled by grandpas and grandmas are true after all.
The actress said that her Mommy Carmen has always been there to guide and help her care for Baby Dahlia.
She said that in more than one year in Australia, where Baby Dahlia was also born, Anne saw the effort spent by her mom and brother, Thomas, in helping care for her baby.
“It’s made me appreciate them even more. And I’m so grateful to have been given that time to spend, let’s just say, with my mom, my brother, when I was still in Melbourne,” the celebrity mom said.
This made the task of caring for Baby Dahlia easier, particularly so that she is a first-time parent. “They really helped me during the first few months of motherhood, and my husband as well,” Anne said.
She also revealed that she saw her mom in a different light at the time. “Just seeing my mom as a lola, in a different light, alam mo ‘yon? Mas nakikita ko pa nga na totoo pala ‘yon, na mas spoiled pa ang apo!” an amused Anne Curtis said during the interview.
“Little things like that, which made me appreciate and so thankful talaga to have them. Not only in my life, but in Dahlia’s life,” the actress said.
