Lolit Solis took to social media to look back on the relationship between Kris Aquino and Ricky Lo, who recently passed away at the age of 75.

According to Lolit, Kris was special to Ricky’s heart because the actress recited the rosary during his mother’s wake.
However, Kris and Ricky had a falling out as well and their gap was never mended.
Lolit said that although their friendship never returned to what it was before, Ricky and Kris still respected each other. This was proven when Kris sent a gift to Ricky despite their lack of communication.
Finally, Lolit revealed that Kris wanted to reach out to Ricky’s family after news broke out about his death.
The “tampuhan issue” that Lolit might be referring to involved Kris calling out Ricky for writing an article about her son Bimby not attending the birthday party of his half-brother MJ. According to Kris, Ricky’s article made it seem that Bimby was not able to attend MJ’s birthday because of some conflict. She then told Ricky that it was in poor taste to try to show Bimby in a bad light through his article.

“Isa sa mga stars na may soft spot si Ricky Lo si Kris Aquino, Salve. Hindi niya malimutan na si Kris ang nag recite ng rosary sa wake ng mother niya. Kaya kahit anong issue nuon kay Kris, mas lamang na nasa side niya si Ricky.
“Nagkaruon sila ng konting 'tampuhan ' , medyo matagal na walang communication. Pero may isang okasyon nuon na nagpadala ng mga regalo si Kris sa ilang kaibigan, at pinadalhan niya si Ricky. I remember na ang tagal namin nag usap ni Ricky tungkol duon.
“Happy siya sa gesture ni Kris, kasi nga sabi niya, forever sa memory niya iyon pag recite nito ng rosary sa wake ng mother niya. Ewan ko kung bakit hindi parin naayos iyon gap, pero I know, wala na iyon tampo ni Ricky.
“Tumawag si Alvin ni Kris Aquino kahapon asking me how they can get in touch with Ricky Lo family, how they can help, at ewan ko ba, parang nag flash iyon mukha ni Ricky.
“Now I am sure, na talagang love niya si Kris at siguro wherever he is now, masaya siya dahil ito na naman si Kris reaching out her hands to him. Small things can really be big , and big things are not always that important sometimes. Basta , in the name of friendship, forever friends sila Ricky at Kris,” Lolit posted on Instagram.
