Korina Sanchez remembers Ricky Lo in emotional post; calls him a "tormentor"

Korina Sanchez has penned a heartfelt post to her "friend" and "ally" Ricky Lo after his passing.
It can be worth noting that the entertainment veteran passed away at the age of 75 due to a stroke. Ricky was notably known for his own column in the Philippine Star called, Funfare.
Following this news, KAMI learned that prominent figures in the entertainment industry, including Korina, have expressed their sympathies for the writer.

In her online post, Korina openly admitted how she and Ricky began back in the day.
"He began as my tormentor. Ricky Lo was Ricky Lo. In the 80’s and 90’s everyone in the industry revered and feared him. His Philippine Star column was the column to be in. He makes or breaks you."
However, despite dubbing the late writer as her "tormentor," Korina went on to share that he eventually became a "friend" and an "ally" to her.
"Through years of talking he became a friend and supporter of this struggling, determined TV reporter and host. I gave him the scoops. And the friend eventually because an ally. In later years Ricky Lo was still Ricky Lo. The one I could always rely on."
Korina then went on to mention the feature Ricky wrote for her when she turned 50 years old.
"Will never forget his tribute to me when I turned 50, dedicating three whole pages to testimonials to my person and career. I loved my friend Ricky. Till the day he had finally gone, no press conference was truly legit without his presence."
At the end of her post, Korina wrote that while his era has ended, he will never be forgotten.
