Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson have posted a YouTube vlog where Gerald asked Julia to try various Filipino street food for the first time.

In the video, Julia and Gerald had a rather funny exchange of words. When Julia tried a stick of barbecued chicken intestine, the actress exclaimed, "Actually, sa totoo lang, para siyang barbecue!"

Gerald could not help but give his girlfriend a look of bafflement and responded, "Barbecue siya." which in turn seemed to confuse Julia. Gerald explained that the chicken intestines were indeed barbecued.

Netizens seemed to find the whole moment hilarious as they began doing parodies of the vlog. In one TikTok video, actor Joel Palancia who was dressed in black pretended to be Gerald while a person wearing a white shirt did a funny and exaggerated impression of Julia.

The TikTok parody video has garnered more than a hundred thousand likes and thousands of comments complimenting the duo's funny impressions of the celebrity couple.
