Pokwang recently put up a community pantry with the help of her neighbors, including Paolo Ballesteros.
On her Instagram page, the comedienne posted a photo and a video clip showing a glimpse of their community pantry called “Pantry Sisters”.

Pokwang, or Marietta Subong in real life, is a Filipino comedian, actress, television host and singer. She was born on August 27, 1970. The actress started out as a reality star on ABS-CBN and eventually appeared in dramas and sitcoms of the network.
She also received the Best Comedy Actress award from the Philippine Movie Press Club for her portrayal in the sitcom "Aalog-Alog" and the Best Female Comedian award from People's Choice Awards.
Pokwang has been vocal recently in expressing her thoughts on current issues, particularly the ongoing pandemic. She then took to social media to air her message to some DDS or supporters of the current administration.
Earlier, Pokwang slammed Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque’s earlier statement regarding the ongoing pandemic and the country’s economy. Roque stated that Filipinos have been on a year-long “vacation” due to the pandemic.
