Ogie Alcasid recently posted a clip on social media giving a glimpse of his and their son Nate’s birthday surprise for Regine Velasquez who just turned 51 years old Thursday, April 22.

In the short video posted on the singer-songwriter’s Instagram page, Regine woke up on her birthday with a trail of rose petals on the floor of their home.
“Nate and Dada’s surprise!!! #happybdayregine we love you @reginevalcasid,” Ogie wrote in the caption.

Regine Velasquez shared with “Magandang Buhay” about the challenges their family faced due to the pandemic. The singer revealed that the death of Ogie’s father was among the most difficult they faced.
Ogie’s father passed away last September. Although the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” judge did not reveal the cause of his death, he expressed his grief for what happened. In a previous report by KAMI, there was a time when Ogie was victimized by a death hoax, to which Regine reacted.
