Gil Morales, most commonly known as Ate Gay, was born on August 12, 1971. He is a Filipino actor, comedian, impersonator and singer. He works at comedy bars and is also well-known for his mash-up songs.

As previously reported by KAMI, Ate Gay was admitted to a hospital due to pneumonia. Fortunately, he tested negative for COVID-19.

Ate Gay also earned the sympathy of netizens after he closed his business, Siomai Himala. He shared that since he is back to work, nobody would be watching the store any longer and no one would also buy from his cart if he is not the one selling the items.
