Coney, who is now 67, is qualified to receive vaccination after the DOH included senior citizens as among the top priorities in the government’s vaccination program.

Mayor Vico earlier declared there would be no preferential treatment in the vaccination program of their city.

The mayor made this declaration after reports surfaced of line skippers in other parts of the nation, comprised mostly of influential persons who are not on the list of those who need to get the vaccines first, were able to get vaccinated.

Coney said she went through the proper protocol and had to wait until she was informed that she is qualified to get the vaccine.
