Anne Curtis recently shared a photo of her daughter Dahlia taking her first sip of “taho,” one of the Filipinos’ best-loved snacks.
“I think Dahlia approves of her first try of taho,” the actress said.
She also expressed happiness at seeing that her daughter loved the taste of “taho.”
Anne said that because of health restrictions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic, taho street vendors rarely ply the streets.
This did not stop small business owners and some “taho” makers to offer online do-it-yourself “taho” food kits and have them delivered to the home of customers.
As for the first “taho” of Dahlia, Anne said her husband, Erwan Heussaff, made it himself using his own recipe.
This classic Pinoy favorite consists of silken tofu, tapioca pearls or sago, and brown sugar syrup or arnibal.
Many loved how the arnibal fuses with tofu, particularly when it is served warm during the mornings.
It is no surprise, therefore, if Dahlia immediately loved its taste.
Like any first-time parent, Anne Curtis would document every milestone hurdled by Dahlia, and eating “taho” for the first time is considered by the actress as one of those milestones.
