“Ano nga ulit yung MECQ? Can't find the infographics anymore - does anyone have one?” Janine posted.

The basher then replied that the system remains the same and wondered why the actress doesn’t know that up to now, implying that she is “tanga.”

She also called out the actress for being “tamad” to read official news from the government and asked Janine to update herself.

While the actress gave a classy response, the basher continued to throw insults at her, telling the actress she doesn’t have to wait for government announcement as she is not in the Philippines anyway.

In a response oozing with calmness and perhaps sarcasm, Janine answered “good for you.”

Janine’s followers, however, would not have it like that. Several of them bashed the basher, telling her that she should be the one to update herself instead of commenting immediately so as to look really “tanga.”

A few weeks ago, Janine was subjected to some bashing after she echoed the sentiments of Liza Soberano in her latest Twitter post. She stated that the government seemed not to have compassion considering that the country has been bearing the pandemic for a year. The actress lamented that instead of giving a solution, the advice that was given was to keep on bearing it and not to complain. Because of her strong words, a basher hit back at Janine and told her to shut up but the actress still fired back.

There were also instances when known government supporters disowned posts attributed to them. Such was the case of Jam Magno when she reacted to the claim that she bashed Janine Gutierrez on social media. This issue started when a Twitter user with the handle @JamMagno_ told Janine to keep quiet and stop complaining about the government. The actress then replied that the government should prioritize mass vaccination. The real Jam Magno clarified that the @JamMagno_ Twitter account is a fake account.
