Kakai Bautista has finally shared why she decided to delete her Twitter account.
It can be recalled that more than a week ago, Kakai deactivated her Twitter page and she made the announcement on her Instagram Stories. The only message that she put was “Avoiding Toxicity”.
However, in an episode of Kapuso Artistambayan recently, the comedienne discussed reasons why she opted to leave the said social media site.
Among the reasons she stated were the controversy she recently faced and the ongoing pandemic.
“Pag iniisip mo lalo 'yung mga nangyayari sa 'tin, 'yung mga personal issues mo, 'yung mga issues sa labas, 'yung issues sa social media, 'yung issue ng ibang tao sa 'yo, kung magwa-wallow ka sa lahat ng mga nagaganap sa paligid mo at nagaganap sa buhay mo, wala na mababaliw ka na talaga."
Meanwhile, about the pandemic, Kakai said, “Ang lakas talaga ng impact sa ating lahat.”
"Kahit gaano ka-strong ng personality mo, ka-tight ng family mo, ka-tight ng friendship mo with other people, wala, e, as in lahat 'yon na-comprise nung nangyari 'tong pandemic.”
Catherine "Kakai" Bautista is a Filipina actress. She is also a host, singer, and comedienne. She is currently one of the casts of "First Yaya." She made headlines earlier after receiving a demand letter against her issued by Mario Maurer’s camp, telling her to cease and desist from using the Thai actor's name.
In the midst of all these, “unbothered” Kakai continued updating her social media page with posts showing her living life to the fullest. She shared an empowering post amid Mario’s camp’s accusations.
In September 2020, Kakai Bautista took to social media to recollect a "beautiful memory" she had with Mario Maurer. Eight years ago, the Filipina comedienne and the Thai superstar starred in the movie “Suddenly It’s Magic” with Erich Gonzales as Mario’s leading lady.
