The actress also shared her thoughts about cyberbullying in her most recent tweet.

"Social media, freedom of speech and having your own opinion DO NOT give you the right to be rude and to cyber-bully. Some of you really need to learn your lesson so be ready for your consequences. This is going to be my final tweet about the issue."

Netizens have conveyed their support for the actress and have even advised Janella to sue the cyberbullies so they can be held accountable for their actions.

"Jea, please don’t accept his apology. Take him to court. Let him learn his lesson. Make sure he pays miserably. In this case, people will learn that freedom of speech comes with responsibilities, wisdom, and being mature."
