Alice Dixson happily shared a new photo on Instagram, along with the information that she has received her first dose of COVID vaccine.

“I got my 1st (emoji indicating injection) yesterday yay!” the actress shared.

She then asked if Pfizer is available in the Philippines as she plans to go home and receive her second dose here.

“Does anyone know if may Pfizer sa atin? My 2nd shot is 3-4 weeks pero balak ko sana sa Pilipinas na lng pag uwi namin,” Alice said.

The actress also indicated that based on the news, there is Astra Zenica and Sinovac but there is no news about any other vaccines.

“So far balita ko is AstraZenica & Sinovac. May alam ba kayo na Pfizer? Pls let me know kasi yun ang kailangan ko sa 2nd vaccination dose ko. Thank you,” Alice wrote in her post.

She also asked for confirmation if it is true that people in Manila can get vaccines even if the metropolis is in lockdown status.

The actress, who is currently out of the country, plans to return to the Philippines soon.

In December of last year, Department of Health Secretary, Francisco Duque III, said that while Pfizer entered into an agreement with the Philippines to supply its vaccines, it never promised any guaranteed delivery.

As reported by Inquirer, Duque said that contrary to reports, there is no Pfizer guarantee of 10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine for the Philippines.
