Bea Alonzo recently talked about her true feelings regarding a controversial breakup in an exclusive interview.
On Thursday, April 8, KAMI learned that G3 San Diego of MEGA Entertainment had an exclusive interview with the actress back in February 2021.
In the beginning, G3 San Diego shared that she asked Bea what piece of advice her on-screen partner, John Lloyd Cruz, gave her following the breakup.

"Merong 'I told you so' moment of course, because he never really wanted that guy for me. Well, he never wanted anybody for me," Bea revealed.
However, the actress shared that she did not believe John Lloyd because she "loved Gerald."
According to Bea, she has always been the "Alpha," however, in their past relationship, Bea said that she really let herself go to "just love fully."
When G3 San Diego asked the actress why, Bea said, "I don’t know, maybe because it’s our second chance and I didn’t want it to fail."
However, the relationship did fail, "Apart from, of course the whole infidelity thing and the whole ghosting thing, I think I’m mad at him more because he gaslighted me.
"I think it was more of that and until now, he’s not holding himself accountable. That’s what really gets me. He has not changed. Not a bit. He was only protecting himself. He’s selfish."
Bea also added that she could not even find the words to describe what kind of man Gerald is.
At one point during the interview, Bea admitted when she saw Gerald at the last ABS-CBN ball, she would have slapped him.
"Nakita ko yung likod niya nung ball pero na-traffic kami," she recalled and eventually said, "I would’ve slapped him. I would have."
In a report done by LatestChika, Gerald not only confirmed his relationship with Julia but also mentioned in his tell-all interview with Boy Abunda that he and Bea were "very toxic."
Aside from this, the 32-year-old actor also denied ghosting Bea during their relationship as reported by ABS-CBN.
After confirming his relationship with Julia, Bea then went on to post about "time as the ultimate truth teller" on social media which blew up in the online community as reported by Inquirer.
