Jake Ejercito recently took to social media to address the positive comments he has been receiving for being an amazing dad to his daughter, Ellie Eigenmann.
On Tuesday, March 23, KAMI learned that the celebrity dad wrote a lengthy online post about him being a father to Ellie, his daughter with his former lover, Andi Eigenmann.
However, aside from expressing how humbled he is upon receiving such comments, Jake went on to mention Andi in his online post as well.

According to Jake, he does not think he has been doing anything special, "Been receiving lots of positive comments about me being a “good” dad to Ellie.
"Though I am truly humbled by and appreciate all the kind words, I honestly don’t think I’m doing anything special. I’m just trying to be the best dad for my daughter.
"With that said, I’d also like to point out that I couldn’t have done it alone, especially at the beginning at such a young age and in a less than ideal situation."
He then mentioned how Andi has been a great co-parent to Ellie as well, "God knows how it would’ve turned out without the guidance and support extended to me/us.
"By my parents, siblings, relatives, friends, and our kasambahays. And of course, Andi’s been a great co-parent too. They da real MVP’s!"
Jake also mentioned that "it does take a village" to raise "a child and a boy."
The celebrity dad ended his post with a message to all the young dads out there, "To all young dads out there, there’s nothing more fulfilling and beautiful in the world than to grow with and be best buddies with your child."
