Angel Locsin took to social media to react to a viral post from Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.

Sotto posted that he undertook a 14-day quarantine even if he tested negative for COVID-19. According to Sotto, he did this in order to follow the DOH’s guideline that a person considered as a close contact of someone who tested positive for the virus must undergo a two-week quarantine. The mayor’s driver and friend, Kuya Vener, passed away due to COVID-19.
The Kapamilya actress reacted to Sotto’s post by expressing her gladness that he is healthy.
Furthermore, she thanked the young politician for following the COVID-19 health protocols. Her post came after a couple of government officials have been accused of breaking protocols.

“Glad you’re ok! Maraming salamat sa pagsunod sa rules,” Angel tweeted.
