Isko Moreno commends Xian Lim after being chosen to portray him in film ‘Yorme’

Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno recently had a reaction to the casting of upcoming musical biopic “Yorme.”

According to an article by ABS-CBN News, the Manila chief commended Xian after being chosen to portray the present-day Mayor Isko in the said film to be directed by Joven Tan.
“I am thankful to him. Bagay naman sa kanya,” the mayor said.
“I think Xian can give justice to the character. I believe in him and I hope he can inspire other people through this movie,” he added.

The said upcoming biopic, under Viva Films and Saranggola Productions, is said to feature the humble beginning of Mayor Isko as scavenger to joining the 1990s youth-oriented talent discovery show of German Moreno titled “That’s Entertainment” until he was elected as Manila Mayor.
Mccoy de Leon is also set to portray the young Isko.
