James Dornan's father has passed away due to COVID-19 while the doctor was in the United Arab Emirates as previously reported by BBC.
Jamie is known for his portrayal of Christian Grey in the film franchise 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. His father on the other was a known gynecologist and obstetrician.
Jim Dornan was also diagnosed with lymphocytic leukemia back in 2015. The brilliant doctor also headed several establishments. He was the president of Northern Ireland Pancreatic Center (NIPANC). He was also chair of Health and Life Sciences at Ulster University and patron of Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI (LAL NI).

There have been an outpouring of condolences and messages for the death of Jim, who was an outstanding figure in Northern Ireland and the world of obstetrics.
"It is with great sadness that NIPANC has heard of the death of Professor Jim Dornan, who died in the UAE on 15 March. Jim, who was the President of NIPANC, the Northern Ireland pancreatic cancer charity, lived a life of public service. He was internationally renowned as a world-class obstetrician and gynaecologist. His relationship with NIPANC was founded on his own family’s experience of this terrible cancer, with the tragic death of his first wife, Lorna, more than twenty years ago. Our thoughts and prayer go out to His family, Samina, Liesa, Jess and Jamie at this difficult time."

James Dornan is an actor, model, and musician from Northern Ireland. Initially beginning his career as a model in 2001, he appeared in campaigns for Hugo Boss, Dior Homme, and Calvin Klein. In addition, he performed in folk band Sons of Jim until 2008. He is best known for his role as Christian Grey in the film 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
James Connor Dornan was a Northern Irish obstetrician and gynecologist who was also a professor and frequently lectured both nationally and internationally, holding the Chair in Fetal Medicine at Queens University Belfast and that in Health & Life Sciences at the Ulster University.
