The actress posted it on March 10, which was also the same day that Julia Barretto, her niece, celebrated her 24th birthday.
There have been many instances that news came out about an alleged rift between Claudine and Marjorie Barretto, who also happened to be the mother of Julia.
The latest rift that made headlines was during the wake of Clau's father, Julia's lolo where it was rumored that the Barretto sisters had a squabble.

Claudine Barretto is the sister of Marjorie Barretto and Gretchen Barretto. She is one of the most popular actresses. She was in a relationship with Rico Yan, when she was still younger. Rico died. Later, Clau married Raymart Santiago.
Claudine Barretto just revealed that she actually called Jodi Sta. Maria and discussed the latter's relationship with her estranged husband Raymart Santiago. The actress said that she and Jodi were very close but she felt bad when she was not informed by Jodi. What she did was to get her number from Raymart and she called her up, and it was then that they got to talk. She also stated that their conversation went well until Clau asked something for the kids, which she said Jodi and Raymart did not live up to their promise, yet she said that she wanted them to be happy.
Claudine reacted to a netizen who questioned her about the death of Rico Yan. This came after the actress posted a photo montage of Rico during the latter's death anniversary.
