Ellen Adarna recently recollected her reaction when she met Derek Ramsay in person for the first time.

In their virtual interview with celebrity photographer Raymund Isaac, Derek narrated her first meeting with the actress.
According to the actor, it was his friend John Estrada who introduced the actress to him. John and Ellen were in a restaurant that time to talk about their sitcom on TV5.
"John Estrada said, 'pumunta ka na rito I want you to meet Ellen'," Derek said quoting his conversation with John over the phone.

When Derek arrived, he noticed that John and Ellen were both tipsy.
“Ellen was coming from the toilet and I go, ‘Hi.’ And she just stops and stares at me. It was freaky."
Ellen then opened up, “Nag-stop ‘yung mundo ko. Hindi naman sa pangit ah, pero ‘di ko siya type sa pictures. Tapos nu’ng finally nakita ko na siya in person, ‘Ay, sh*t.’"
