Gerald Anderson and his current girlfriend, Julia Barretto, have been under public scrutiny following the confirmation of their relationship.
Following this news, KAMI learned that an old interview of Gerald Anderson's mother, Evangeline Opsima, has recently resurfaced on social media.
The said interview was that of Gerald's mother expressing her honest opinions over Gerald and Bea Alonzo's break up as well the actor's rumored romance with Julia back then.

In her 2019 interview with ABS-CBN, Evangeline clearly stated that she does not support the actress's rumored romance with her son, Gerald.
"Julia, hindi ibig sabihin hindi kita gusto, bata ka sa anak ko," she said.
Evangeline also expressed her honest thoughts over the longevity of their relationship, "Baka lang ilang taon lang, wala na rin. O maybe three months, wala na kayo."
Gerald's mother went on to add, "Hindi ko sinasabing ayaw kita, no, ang akin lang, ang advice ko lang sayo, please, ayoko kasi may edad na rin si Gerald sayo.
"Hindi rin kayo magtagal kasi alam ko, nasa industriya ka rin. Alam ko yung relasyon laro lang."
