This time, the entertainment columnist shared her thoughts on Derek’s closeness with the actress’ son with John Lloyd Cruz named Elias Modesto.
“Suwerte naman na parang adjusted na agad ang anak nila John Lloyd Cruz at Ellen Adarna na si Elias kay Derek Ramsay Salve. Kung titignan mo ang mga photos pag magkasama sila parang kilalang kilala na ng bata si Derek. At least walang problema kung sakali man at magsama ang dalawa dahil feeling daddy na agad ang turing nito sa anak ng actress.”

Manay Lolit likewise thinks John Lloyd has no problem with Derek displaying his closeness with the celebrity kid to the public.
“Mukha naman walang problema kay Jonh Lloyd at tanggap ang kapalaran ng naging affair nila ni Ellen, masaya din siya sa kanilang usapan pagdating sa pagpapalaki sa kanilang anak. Maganda ang process ng hiwalayan nila John Lloyd at Ellen, walang sisihan, walang sumbatan, walang away.”
