Angel Locsin gave a deep, insightful and important interview on Bianca Gonzalez’s YouTube vlog.
The Kapamilya star pointed out that many Filipinos prefer their male leaders to have a strong personality and to be opinionated but want women to remain quiet, submissive, and demure.
She said that people do this unconsciously due to the prejudice they inherited from past generations.
According to the actress, she is hoping that the Filipino society will progress beyond this stigma so that women can safely voice their opinions and show their strong personalities.
