Kim Chiu recently shared what she learned during the pandemic. The actress and TV host said she realized that creating and collecting memories with loved ones are more important than buying something expensive for oneself.

She said this is the main reason why she has not bought herself a luxury bag since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. For the Kapamilya star, spending more time with loved ones and creating memories is way better as no one knows what can happen tomorrow.
In an Instagram post, followers can see Kim holding a Louis Vuitton bag along with the caption “For those reacting, bought this bag years ago and I’m happy that I haven’t bought any yet since the start of pandemic.”
The actress emphasized that creating more memories with loved ones and spending more time with family is the most important thing in the world. “Life is short. Collect more memories and spend more time with your loved ones. You will never know what will happen tomorrow,” she said.
Lately, Kim went on a vacation to Balesin and Palawan with her beau Xian Lim. In December of last year, the Kapamilya star also went to Boracay with her family.
In a social media post last year, Kim expressed her gratefulness at being a member of a big family. “This year may be challenging, but I get through by having ‘them’ with me. I am happy to belong to a big family, may instant barkadahan ka na kaagad!” the actress posted last December.
She also shared an appreciation post for Xian. For her family, she wrote a heartwarming post, saying that her family will always have a special bond and that others might see them growing old but for family members, they would always stay the same.
“We know each other as we always were. We know each other’s hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs, and joy. We have that special bond, and that is called blood,” Kim said in a post.
