Kylie Verzosa recently came to Jake Cuenca’s defense after the actor drew flak due to a video he posted on social media.
On his Instagram page, the actor posted a video giving a glimpse of the romantic date he prepared for his girlfriend, Kylie Verzosa.
In the video, Jake said he’s going to ask “one thing” to Kylie, which made netizens assume that he was about to propose to her.
“So, I prepared this because I just wanted to ask you one thing,” Jake said which made Kylie looked shocked.
After a moment of silence, Jake asked, “Kumain ka na ba?"
Jake then received criticism after netizens watched his “proposal prank”.

Later on, the actress and beauty queen defended Jake and said she was aware that her boyfriend is going ask her that question even before the clip was filmed.
“Hello guys! I knew that Jake was going to ask me this question before filming. No feelings or humans were hurt while filming this video hehe, peace and love.
Jake has been the best boyfriend to me.”
