Kim Chiu became emotional during the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment of the ABS-CBN program, “It’s Showtime.”
KAMI learned that Kim shed tears while talking with a male contestant who admitted that he used to be in favor of shutting down the Kapamilya network.

The Kapamilya actress-host cried while she was talking about the compassion of the network towards those who desired ABS-CBN’s closure.
According to Kim, there are other people who were also against ABS-CBN but were still given opportunities by the network.

“Hindi lang naman siya yung binigyan ng pagkakataon na pinapasok nating muli dito sa Kapamilya channel na nag-yes sa ABS-CBN shutdown…
“Ganito pala yung feeling… Iba lang yung pakiramdam na tayong mga Kapamilya, yung mga nagsasabing ‘Yes to ABS-CBN shutdown,’ pinapatuloy pa rin natin sila dito para ipakita yung talent and tuparin yung pangarap nila,” Kim said.
