Gladys Reyes could not help but express her relief and happiness in her latest update regarding her father's condition.
Earlier this week, the celebrity mom revealed that her father experienced "severe chest pain" which prompted them to send him to the hospital.
He then underwent angioplasty which Gladys also shared online.
Following this news, KAMI learned that the actress finally revealed that the operation was a success on her social media account.

In her online post, Gladys thanked the medical team behind her father's successful operation.
"Our prayers are answered!! It was a successful angioplasty by Dr. Remus Batilaran, Dr. Miranda and their team. Thank you also to his cardio, Dr. Rudolfo for monitoring my papa since day one."
She then shared that the "9 hours of waiting and praying paid off."
Furthermore, Gladys went on to express her gratitude to the people who sent her comforting messages regarding her father's condition.
"Thank you to these awesome people who gave me comfort and making sure I was ok. Thank you so much to all your kind words, encouragement from my family, friends who pm'd, even those I don't know personally, sending DMs, I really appreciate it so much!
"God is indeed in control. I don't know how I was able to surpass all the rollercoaster of emotions being in this situation, but I am grateful!! Praying there will be no more complications and that my papa is on his way to full recovery. Goodnight everyone!"

Gladys Reyes is an actress who first rose to fame after starring as 'Clara' in the hit drama television series, "Mara Clara" alongside Judy Ann Santos. She is married to Christopher Roxas and they have four children together.
As reported earlier by KAMI, Gladys Reyes revealed her father was sent to the hospital to undergo an operation.
