On January 4, Monday, Julia uploaded the latest vlog on her YouTube channel. It is all about the ab workout routines that she does at home, while not being able to do an intense workout.

Julia admitted that it has been months since she last worked out due to ‘life happening’, presumably because of the pandemic.

However, the controversial actress gave a reminder that those should not be an excuse to stop pursuing fitness goals.

“Nakaka-ilang months na rin since may last intense workout because life happened,
“but at the same time that’s not an excuse,
“because despite life happening dapat nakakahanap tayo ng time para mag-exercise and to take care of our physical health.” Julia said.

According to Julia, the workout routines she shared are what she does to make up for not being able to train intensely like before. She mentioned that she tries to do those routines every day, or at least thrice a week.

“So, kung hindi nawo-work out ang buong katawan for me, basta nawo-work out ‘yung core, importante na ‘yun,
“and that’s good enough.” she added.

The ab exercises that Julia demonstrated in the video are crunches, lying toe touches, heel tap, up-down plank, leg raise, side crunch, rotational crunches, planks (with dips).

She did one set of every workout, with 30 seconds each, but she disclosed that she does them at three sets each in real workout sessions.

Julia revealed that among those exercises, the up-down plank is among her favorites, while planks are her least.
