Kathryn Bernardo and other Pinoy celebrities posted some New Year’s greetings on social media, mostly highlighting the hope that 2021 will be better, following the not-so-good 2020.

Just like the ordinary people, many of the Filipino celebrities experienced a rather tough 2020 due to the pandemic. For this reason, most of them are also hopeful that 2021 will be a better year for everyone.
For Kathryn Bernardo, 2020 was like a roller coaster ride. Yet, the Kapamilya actress is thankful for making it to 2021. She also mentioned that still there were good things she was thankful for last year.
“You’ve been a crazy roller coaster ride, 2020. But i'm still grateful that we made it here. Although it was not the year that we expected, there were still good things to be grateful for. (emojis)

In his post, Alden Richards focused on being thankful. He also added a reminder for everyone about letting one's light shine bright to help others see in the dark.

Ai-ai delas Alas posted an early New Year greeting. She wrote about hoping and feeling that 2021’s entrance will be good, but which she entrusts to God. The comedy actress also mentioned that even if 2019 and 2020 were not very positive for her, she believes that God was only teaching her something.
